Perhaps instead of death or sickness... They are rendered unconscious as a great load of knowledge is forced into their mind. When they awake the knowledge can have effects on their lives. The knowledge itself would be a "conscious being" withing the characters mind. The character could try to control that knowledge and learn from it, but lose the ability to pass it on to others directly. They would speak or write in code and riddle whenever asked about any information gained this way. Or if they don't pursue it, the knowledge could spring up at inoppurtune times (ie. a guard asks you about a criminal and you suddenly blurt out some intimate detail only the criminals men would know)

Just an idea... but I feel I'm having trouble conveying it. If you don't understand just ask and I'll try again to explain better.

ok so the amadoria conjoined twins thing flopped.. the character just kind of died.. not litterally , but i'm sick of playing her.

I'm offering up my character oupheme (dragon, no human form) as caregiver for any infants that need to be placed until time is right.

She lives in Llyr (shores of Sandraea (SP?) near the mystics, large lair, smart dragon breed, capable provider (for a dragon) lol. she can understand humans, just can't speak the language.

I had an idea to bounce off. I read over this thread and I think I got an idea of what is wanted. So here is my idea.

You have the two kids. You still seem to be deciding how its going to work. What if one of the children has the ability to *see* the item or whatever is decided on, and is also able to decipher the clues on where, when, what ect. ect. You know figure out the puzzles. The other child is going to be the one that can actually touch said item and perhaps be the one releases or contains this great power.

Also, people are worried about the children being to powerful, well why not give them handicaps of some sort. Possibly the child who can *see* is in effect blind to the rest of the world. Such things could give a balance maybe.

i like those ideas. honetstly right now we've just been trying to sketch out the basics and figure out who's children will get the spots.

you're right though, we need to get on with the details, the children cam come later after we've gotten almost everything worked out. if the child that's that can "see" is blind but there are no children in faerune that are blind, well that makes all the more for RP :3

Perhaps this idea is best started off sometime before the children are involved.
